CORTRIUM
Corporate Social Value Statement

Public statement

Our approach

Cortrium develops and supplies reusable Holter monitoring technology, associated software and professional ECG analysis services. Our primary social contribution is created through this core healthcare purpose: supporting healthcare professionals and patients with safe, effective and compliant cardiac monitoring solutions.

For Cortrium, social value does not depend on charity, volunteering, or external community or educational programs. We focus on the areas where our business can create credible and supportable value: health and patient value, responsible employment, ethical and responsible supply-chain management, and environmental responsibility.

Our commitments

  • Health and patient value — create social value through safe, effective and reliable medical technology and ECG analysis services that support diagnosis, follow-up and monitoring, while considering improvements to usability, efficiency and environmental performance without compromising safety or compliance.
  • Employees and wellbeing — maintain a safe, inclusive and respectful working environment, support equal opportunity, competence development and flexible working where operationally feasible.
  • Responsible business and supply chain — conduct business ethically, respect human rights, oppose modern slavery and apply proportionate sustainability and social-responsibility expectations to strategic suppliers and business partners.
  • Environment and climate — implement our Sustainability Policy, Carbon Reduction Plan, 2025 greenhouse-gas baseline and approved Net Zero 2045 commitment, while pursuing proportionate improvements in products, operations and the value chain.

This approach reflects Cortrium’s Quality Policy values: end-user focus, product safety and reliability, end-user comfort, good clinical practice, scientific integrity and user satisfaction.

Governance and evidence

Social-value activities are managed within Cortrium’s existing sustainability and Quality Management System governance. We review relevant objectives and activities at least annually and maintain records supporting material public claims. We seek to make commitments that are practical, proportionate and capable of being evidenced.
